Our Prophet (pbuh) said on Eid-al-Adha: “Today, our first task is to perform the (eid) prayer, then return and sacrifice. Those who do these things are following our sunnah.” (Bukhari, Ideyn, 3)
Our Prophet (pbuh) said: “If a person commits a sin, then regrets it and makes a good ablution, then gets up and prays two rak'ahs and asks Allah for forgiveness, Allah will surely forgive him.” (Abu Dawud, Vitr, 26)
A man came to our Prophet and said, “Which of the believers is superior?” The Prophet said, “He has the best morals”. Then the man said, “Which believer is wiser?” he asked. Our Prophet (pbuh) said, “He is the one who remembers his death and is best prepared for the Hereafter”. (Ibn Majah, Zuhd, 31)
“O Allah! I seek refuge in You from sadness and sorrow, laziness and stinginess, cowardice, debt and the wrath of people.” (Bukhari, Deavat, 40)
