Organized by faculty members Sapargul Turdubekova and Dinara Isakova, the visit was designed to bridge the gap between classroom theory and industry reality. As Kyrgyzstan's tourism sector continues to grow, such excursions provide students with a first-hand look at the rigorous standards required by global hotel chains.
During the four-day tour, students were granted "behind-the-scenes" access to several critical departments, including:
Front Office & Concierge: Observing guest relations and high-tech check-in systems.
Food & Beverage (F&B): Touring professional kitchens and upscale dining areas.
Housekeeping & Operations: Learning about the logistics of maintaining 5-star quality.
Students also engaged in Q&A sessions with department heads, discussing the skills needed to succeed in an increasingly competitive market.
"These site visits are essential for broadening professional horizons," noted the organizers. "Seeing world-class operations in action inspires our students to strive for excellence in their own studies and future careers."
By witnessing the daily operations of international brands like Sheraton and Novotel, these future specialists are better prepared to elevate the hospitality standards of the Kyrgyz Republic in the years to come.
