GOAL
The aim of the Environmental Engineering Department Master's Program is to train specialists at the graduate level with theoretical and professional knowledge for a comprehensive professional activity, who understand the fundamental issues of environmental engineering (water and wastewater treatment processes, prevention and control of air pollution, disposal and control of solid waste, soil pollution and control, disposal and control of hazardous wastes), who can offer practical suggestions by working in the field of protection of environmental ecosystems, environmental safety of the national economy, control and audit activities and on specific environmental problems.
PROGRAM INFORMATION
1. The program aims to provide its students with advanced Environmental Engineering knowledge, the skills necessary to recognize, analyze and solve environmental problems that arise as a result of universal developments, to solve engineering problems, to conduct scientific research with environmental awareness; It aims to train graduates who can both perform the engineering profession and transfer to higher degree programs.
2. There is an adequate infrastructure (9 classrooms, seminar hall, equipped computers and 4 laboratories) for the execution of the Master's Program. In addition, there is a central library that provides uninterrupted service. There is a central library equipped with reading rooms, with access to textbooks and periodicals, periodicals, an Internet infrastructure that provides access to databases and electronic resources.
3. Our University's Environmental Engineering Department and Engineering Faculty have sufficient faculty members and staff (currently 8 full-time lecturers including 3 Professors, 1 Associate Professor, 1 Assistant Professor, 1 Lecturer, 2 Academic Experts) for the execution of the Master's Program. Some of the faculty members have completed their doctorate abroad. Faculty members conduct joint scientific studies with researchers abroad and participate in international scientific activities. When necessary, the students of the Master's Program have the opportunity to take courses from other universities in Kyrgyzstan, apart from Kyrgyzstan Turkey Manas University.
4. The master's program is constantly updated according to scientific developments and innovations.
