The Automotive Laboratory and Workshop is a modern training facility equipped with state-of-the-art tools, allowing students to apply theoretical knowledge in practice. This lab focuses on core automotive technologies, including engine systems, ignition mechanisms, braking systems, steering, and gearboxes.
Students gain hands-on experience in exhaust emission testing, engine assembly-disassembly, electrical and electronic circuit analysis, diagnostic troubleshooting, and injector cleaning. Additionally, training sets are used to study hydraulic power steering systems, automatic and CVT transmissions, differential mechanisms, and parking sensor systems.
The lab features battery chargers, compressors, headlight alignment tools, and paint thickness gauges, preparing students for real-world work environments. Petrol and diesel engine training stands, electric vehicle models, and sectional cutaways help students gain expertise in various automotive engineering fields.
Supervised by Lecturer M. Rüştü Çiftçi, this workshop is designed to equip students with the practical skills needed in the automotive industry.
Teaches CAD/CAM programs (AutoCAD, 3D Max, SketchUp, ArchiCAD, Photoshop, AlphaCAM, etc.) with 25 computers.
