Our Students Participated in the Orhun Exchange Program at Balıkesir University
As part of the Orhun Exchange Program, students of our faculty visited the Rector of Balıkesir University in Türkiye, Prof. Dr. Yücel OĞURLU, in his office.
During the meeting held at the rectorate building on May 13, 2026, Prof. Dr. Oğurlu warmly welcomed our students and provided information about the mission and vision of Balıkesir University as well as the Turkish world.
At the end of the meeting, our students took commemorative photos with Prof. Dr. Oğurlu.
The Orhun Exchange Program is a comprehensive mobility program that enables student and academic staff exchange among higher education institutions that are members of the Union of Turkish Universities (TÜRKÜNİB) under the Organization of Turkic States. The program aims to strengthen academic cooperation, preserve the culture of the Turkic world, encourage academic mobility, and provide international experience.
The program is implemented among state universities in the Turkic world geography, including Türkiye, Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Hungary, and aims to enhance academic integration by serving as a bridge between educational institutions.
