Seminars on the EU’s Central Asia Strategy and Turkey-EU Relations

Two separate seminars were organized for the department’s students with the participation of Dr. Pırıl Akın OCAK from Ankara University European Communities Research and Application Center.
The first session of the day was held at 10:30. In the seminar titled “The European Union’s Central Asia Policy within the Framework of the European Union’s Foreign Policy”, attended by second-year students of the department, the EU’s strategic approach towards the region was discussed.
On the same day at 15:00, a second seminar titled “Turkey–European Union Relations” was held, which attracted great interest from students. Following the seminar, Dr. OCAK answered students’ questions and made significant remarks by providing a comprehensive evaluation of Turkey–EU relations.
