First Step for Future Coders: Scratch and Arduino Training for Middle School Students
Acting with a sense of social responsibility, Lecturer Dr. Mehmet Karadeniz organized a special training program for middle school students. This program, named "Basic Scratch Programming and Arduino Training," aims to introduce students to the programming and electronics world, which are the cornerstones of technology. During the training process, students developed interactive stories and games with Scratch, enhancing their algorithmic thinking skills. In the Arduino section, they learned to set up simple electronic circuits and control these circuits through programming. At the end of the program, students had the chance to reinforce their theoretical knowledge and apply what they learned through practice. This training was an important step towards raising individuals who not only consume technology but also produce it.
