Students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering Took Part in a Technical Field Trip to OAO Chakan HPP-3
On April 10, 2025, second-year students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering participated in a technical field trip to OAO Chakan HPP-3, a micro-scale hydroelectric power plant.
The trip was conducted under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Mirbek Turduev and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ruslan Akparali. During the visit, students received detailed information about the plant’s technical structure, turbine operations, and the process of converting hydraulic energy into electricity. The plant staff also presented the role of small-scale hydropower plants in sustainable energy supply and environmental compatibility.
This experience allowed students to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and real-world engineering practice while observing an actual energy system in operation.
