Excitement at Bishkek Park for the “Manas Youth Festival”: A Showcase of Science and Art by University Students
Bishkek, May 17, 2025 — Organized by Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, the Manas Youth Festival (Kyrgyz: Манас жаштар шаңы, Russian: молодёжный праздник "Манас") brought vibrant scenes to life today at Bishkek Park. The event celebrated the dynamism of youth by bringing together students’ artistic and scientific talents from various faculties of the university.
As part of the festival, a concert prepared by the academic staff of the Faculty of Fine Arts attracted great interest, while other faculties presented their works at information stands for visitors. With active participation from students, the event stood out with both its entertaining and educational aspects.
Innovative Projects from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering
Students from the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering received great appreciation for the projects they developed. The projects showcased at the department’s stand included:
Smart Home System: An integrated system that enables remote control of lighting, security, and energy management.
RFID-Based Attendance System: A practical solution that tracks student entries and exits without contact and records them digitally.
Automatic Ventilation System: A control mechanism that activates fans based on ambient temperature, aiming to improve energy efficiency.
Binary Number Adder Circuit: A hands-on application circuit using basic logic gates that supports learning in digital electronics topics.
The projects not only attracted visitors’ attention but also demonstrated the students’ ability to translate engineering education into practical application.
