Scientific Visit of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Faculty of Engineering to Japan
Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Faculty of Engineering Department of Food Engineering faculty members Dr. Aybek Bödöşov, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ruslan Adil Akay Tegin and Chemical Engineering Department student Altynay Subanbekova and Food Engineering Department student Aliya Şaybekova paid a scientific program visit to Kumamoto University in Japan between December 17-24, 2024 within the scope of the Sakura Scientific Exchange Program.
The Sakura Scientific Exchange Program aims to organize short-term research and experience exchange activities in scientific institutes in Japan. This visit was organized by Associate Professor Ayçürek Majitova, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and was held upon the invitation of Professor Makoto Takafuji from Kumamoto University.
As part of the visit, students presented a presentation for cultural promotion about Kyrgyzstan; faculty members gave scientific lectures and made a presentation about scientific studies carried out at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. In addition, views were exchanged on the implementation of joint projects between the two universities in the future.
In addition, a meeting was held with graduates of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University during the event. Graduates Alimcan Kalbekov and Altynay Abdirashid Kızı, who are studying for their doctorates at Kyushu University, and Ciyde Tokpayeva, who is studying at Kumamoto University as part of a dual diploma program, attended the meeting.
