Great Success from Our Industrial Engineering Student: Kyrgyzstan Arm Wrestling Championship
Our Industrial Engineering Department student Shelchoro Sultanbekov has made both our department and our faculty proud with a historic achievement in sports. Sultanbekov won the gold medal in the "90 kg Youth" category, outperforming all his competitors in the Kyrgyzstan Championship held at the Gazprom Sports Center on April 1-3, 2026, which brought together the country's strongest arm wrestlers.
The tournament, held with the participation of the most talented and powerful athletes from all regions of Kyrgyzstan, witnessed an extremely high level of competition and contested matches. Shelchoro Sultanbekov, who achieved the championship in this prestigious organization that also serves as national team selections, took an important step toward representing our country in the international arena with this success.
We wholeheartedly congratulate our student, who reached the top by showing superior perseverance and discipline in sporting activities alongside his academic studies.
