Workshop Program Held Within the Scope of the “Heritage Beyond Time: Silk Road” Event

A workshop program was held on April 21, 2026, at the Kurmancan Datka Art Gallery within the scope of the international event “Heritage Beyond Time: Silk Road.” Participants had the opportunity to closely explore different branches of traditional arts and experience them through hands-on activities.

As part of the program, workshops were organized on brass cutting, wood carving, and calligraphy. The practical sessions, conducted under the guidance of expert instructors, attracted strong interest from students and art enthusiasts.

Rector of KTMU Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan also visited the venue and examined the workshop activities on site. After meeting with participants and receiving information about the workshops, Rector Ceylan signed the exhibition’s guest book.

Reflecting the shared heritage of different cultures, the workshop program contributed to the promotion of traditional arts while offering participants a rich cultural and artistic experience.

The event aims to strengthen international cooperation through art and culture and to pass shared values on to future generations.
