“Kyrgyz Culture” Themed Painting Competition Held
On February 12, 2026, a painting competition themed “Kyrgyz Culture” was held at the foyer of the Faculty of Fine Arts of Kyrgyzstan–Turkey Manas University. The event, organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Arts and Hobby Park, attracted great interest from students.
Within the scope of the competition, students reflected the rich motifs and symbols of Kyrgyz culture onto their canvases through their own creative perspectives. Throughout the event, participants had the opportunity to showcase their individual artistic abilities as well as to experiment with various artistic techniques and materials. The competition, held in a colorful and dynamic atmosphere, encouraged artistic interaction and creative dialogue among students.
At the end of the competition, the artworks were exhibited and subsequently evaluated through voting conducted via social media. The students who ranked among the winners were awarded gifts prepared by Hobby Park.
This event strengthened the university’s connection with cultural values while providing an inspiring creative environment for students, who are the artists of the future. It also once again highlighted the faculty’s educational approach that supports artistic production and prioritizes student development.
