The Faculty of Huminities hosted two important meetings in February as part of its efforts to raise quality standards in education. Discussions were held to review internal audit results with the participation of an expert from the Turkish Standards Institute (TSE), and a roadmap for 2026 was drawn up.
The first stage of the process was the ‘Internal Audit Results Evaluation and Target Setting’ meeting held on 13 February 2026. The meeting, attended by department heads and Faculty Quality Management System (QMS) officers, evaluated the results of the practical internal audit conducted on 12 December 2025. The meeting addressed the procedure for setting targets to be implemented in 2026 and the principles for their implementation.
Online Briefing with TSE Representative Dr. Cahit Atlı
In the second phase of the quality processes, an online ‘QMS Information Meeting’ was held on 20 February 2026 with the participation of TSE representative Dr. Cahit Atlı. Dr. Atlı informed participants about the sustainability of quality policy in higher education institutions and the critical role of internal audit processes in institutional development. Expressing his appreciation for the Faculty's work in this area, Dr. Atlı emphasized that the QMS activities carried out within the Faculty were of great importance in terms of spreading a “quality culture” within the institution. The meetings, during which participants' questions were answered and which took place in a cordial atmosphere, once again confirmed the Faculty's determination to raise its quality standards to a higher level.
