On November 15, 2024, at 15:00, the "Virtual Reality Education Seminar" was held by the Department of Educational Sciences at the İLEF C-106 VR Laboratory. The event was organized within the framework of the plan of the Faculty of Letters and was presented by the Head of the Department of Educational Sciences, Prof. Dr. Mehmet Arif Özerbaş.
The seminar discussed the advantages of using virtual reality (VR) technologies in social sciences. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Arif Özerbaş emphasized that VR technology offers many benefits such as increasing creativity in educational processes, making learning more effective and ensuring active participation of students.
The event was attended by the Dean of the Faculty of Letters, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan AŞIK, Vice Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kayrat BELEK and faculty members of the Faculty of Letters. At the end of the seminar, the participants were given the opportunity to practice with VR glasses, enabling theoretical knowledge to be put into practice.
