SPRING CELEBRATION AT THE PHILOLOGY DEPARTMENT
On March 26, 2026, the Department of Philology’s Russian Language and Literature program hosted a vibrant and heartwarming celebration organized by third-year students. The department head, Prof. Dr. Cholpon Naimanova, delivered a welcoming speech, emphasizing the importance of such gatherings for communication and cultural exchange. The participation of guests – students from Haci Bayram Veli University (Ankara) who had arrived through an exchange program—created a special atmosphere. The program was rich and lively: contests, games, dances, songs, and interesting stories about the spring traditions of different peoples. Special attention was given to the holidays of Nowruz and Maslenitsa. The celebration took place in a friendly atmosphere, leaving everyone in high spirits and filled with the true emotions of spring.
