Prof. Dr. Irfan Albayrak conducted a seminar titled “Sumerian Cuneiform and Applied Dead Languages”
Prof. Dr. Irfan Albayrak from the Department of Ancient Languages and Cultures of Ankara University held a seminar “Sumerian Cuneiform and Applied Dead Languages” in October 6, 2023, in room 228 of the Faculty of Humanities of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University. The seminar was organized as a part of the “Turkology Department Seminars” series which emphasized the role of the Sumerian civilization and Sumerian cuneiform in history, as well as the influence of Sumerian cuneiform on other civilizations.
