Purpose of the General Biology Laboratory:
The primary objective of the laboratory is to ensure that students acquire practical skills in applying modern experimental methods and utilizing contemporary biological equipment while working with general biological specimens under laboratory conditions.

The laboratory is directly linked to a number of courses included in the academic curriculum. Practical classes in “General Botany,” “General Zoology,” and other specialized disciplines are conducted on the basis of this laboratory. The use of next-generation technologies contributes to the enhancement of students’ practical competencies in the field of biology.

  • Academic Periods and Number of Students Covered:
The laboratory is utilized for disciplines offered during the 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th semesters of the Biology program.
  • Capacity:
The laboratory is designed to serve approximately 100–150 students.
  • Contribution to the Educational Program:
Conducting the practical components of courses предусмотренных in the curriculum under appropriate laboratory conditions has a significant positive impact on the quality of the educational program.

Furthermore, the laboratory facilitates the development of students’ competencies in applying modern experimental techniques and working with contemporary equipment in the study of biological specimens.
