“Characteristics of the Nest Paper of Wild Bees”
On April 1, 2026, at 13:30, a scientific seminar was held in Room 221 within the framework of the Orhun Exchange Program, featuring Prof. Dr. Nil Bagryachyk from the Department of Biology, Faculty of Natural Sciences, Niğde Ömer Halisdemir University (Republic of Türkiye). The seminar was entitled “Characteristics of the Nest Paper of Wild Bees.”
During the seminar, the biological characteristics of wild bees, the natural materials they use in nest construction, and the physicochemical properties of the nest “paper” were discussed in detail. In addition, scientific insights were presented regarding the role of these organisms in ecosystems and their environmental significance.
The event attracted considerable interest from students and academic staff and was conducted in an interactive format, including an active question-and-answer session.
This seminar represents an important step toward enhancing international cooperation, promoting the exchange of experience, and strengthening academic ties.
