Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey in Bishkek Ahmet Sadık Dogan gave a lecture at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

The conference started with the informative speech of President of the Central Asian Research Center, Prof. Dr. Nasuh Uslu who organized the conference. The conference continued with the opening speeches by Deputy Rector Dr. Baktıgul Kalambekova and Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Mehmet Sezai Turk. Institutional Structures to be Strengthened by Youth

Ahmet Sadık Dogan, who gave a speech titled “Unity of the Turkic World”, started his speech by describing the institutional structures established to ensure unity across the Turkic states. Ambassador Dogan expressed his belief that the students who will graduate by equipping themselves in the best way in every field will diversify and strengthen these structures.

The Importance of Shared Values

Reminding that these shared values are very important in the Turkic world where culture, history, language and religion are one, the Ambassador emphasized that these values which bring the peoples of the Turkic world together are the elements that strengthen the unity.

Strengthening the Sovereign Identity

Stating that the countries of the Turkic world should protect and strengthen their national language, Ambassador Ahmet Sadık Dogan underlined that language is an element that strengthens the identity of the sovereign state, and if the sovereign identity is not strengthened, there can be no talk of unity and solidarity.

Stating that the institutions to be established especially by the youth of the Turkic world in unity should have a structure suitable for the time, Dogan also stated that concrete achievements should be made in the Turkic world in accordance with the realities.

The Value of Fraternity

Referring to the assistance provided by Kyrgyzstan following the earthquake disaster in Turkey, the Ambassador reminded that Kyrgyzstan President Sadyr Japarov gave instructions to all relevant institutions and very important works were carried out immediately after the earthquake. Ambassador Dogan said that within the framework of the cooperation between Turkey and Kyrgyzstan, a rescue course was given by Turkey to the members of the Ministry of Emergency Situations a few months ago, and that the trainees who trained themselves used the knowledge and experience they gained to help their brothers and sisters in Turkey. Ambassador Ahmet Sadık Dogan said that in this difficult process, the meaning of fraternity was better understood, the love of the Kyrgyz and Turkish peoples for each other was once again seen, and that Kyrgyzstan has a very special place in his heart from now on. The Ambassador also stated that Turkey, which will heal its wounds as soon as possible, will look to the future with confidence together with its brothers.

Young People Who Will Strengthen the Unity of the Turkish World

Ambassador Ahmet Sadık Dogan, who wants the students of Manas to know the value of their  University, to educate themselves very well, and to strengthen the fraternity & unity of the peoples of the Turkic world. Ambassador Dogan said that Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, which increases its international achievements day by day, shows great progress in every field and always supported by Turkey and Kyrgyzstan. Also he said that there are the opportunities for young people to equip themselves in the best way and the environment to strengthen their fraternity at Manas University. Ambassador Ahmet Sadık Dogan proposed to the University administration to increase the competition among the students and to take successful students to Istanbul every year to the Secretariat of the Organization of Turkic States.

After the conference, a certificate of appreciation was presented to Ambassador Ahmet Sadık Dogan.
