“World Autism Awareness Day” Event Was Held at Manas University
An event was held at Kyrgyz-Türkish Manas University on the occasion of World Autism Day.
Rector Alpaslan Ceylan and Deputy Rector Baktygul Kalambekova attended the event organized to raise awareness on autism in cooperation with the Center for Continuing Education and the Empathy Student Community of the Student Council.
Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan said that they are very happy to host autistic children, whom they value and love very much, and that the doors of the University are always open to children and their families. Prof. Dr. Ceylan also stated that Manas, which is more than just a university, will continue to support these children and their families and to solve their problems.
The guests who participated in the event and had their hands painted left handprints on the board with the slogan "We are aware of autism, we stand by them" to create autism awareness.
