Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan visited the Kyrgyz National Academy of Sciences.

Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Vice Rector Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, Advisor to the Rector, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Serhat Burmaoglu met with Abdyldajan Akmataliev, Director of the Chyngyz Aitmatov Institute of Language and Civilization of the Kyrgyz National Academy of Sciences.

During the visit, it was agreed to increase the cooperation between the two institutions and to carry out joint activities of the Manas University Eurasian Research Institute of History, Language and Archaeology and Chyngyz Aitmatov Institute of Language and Civilization.

Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan examined the manuscript samples of the Manas Epic and the works of Kyrgyz literary figures in the archives of the Institute and said that within the scope of cooperation, work will be carried out on the protection and digitization of these valuable archival works.

Abdyldajan Akmataliev emphasized that Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University is of great importance for Kyrgyzstan and the Turkic world and he would be pleased to develop areas of cooperation.

Akmataliev said that Manas University will make another great contribution to the cultural heritage of Kyrgyzstan and the world of science with the digitization work that will immortalize precious manuscripts and make them available to researchers from all over the world.
