Strengthening Cooperation in the Field of Sports and Mountaineering
On February 28, 2025, the President of the Federation of Mountaineering and Climbing of the Kyrgyz Republic Eduard Kubatov met with the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, and Deputy Rector, Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev.
During the meeting, they discussed concrete steps to strengthen cooperation between the federation and the university. Additionally, they evaluated strategies to further develop mountaineering in Kyrgyzstan and maximize the country’s potential in this field. Both parties emphasized the significant opportunities for joint projects aimed at achieving new advancements in the sports and mountaineering sectors.
