Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University has taken another significant step towards academic excellence. The Accreditation Inaugural Meeting and Discussions, held on April 14–15, 2025, concluded successfully with high participation and productive sessions.
The meeting was attended by KTMU Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Recai Doğan and Prof. Dr. Kamalbek Karymshakov, Secretary General Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, members of the Expert Commission, and numerous faculty members.
As a result of this process, a total of 40 academic programs, including 29 undergraduate, 7 master's, and 4 doctoral programs, were accredited by the internationally recognized Accreditation Agency (AAOPO).
During the sessions, accreditation efforts were thoroughly reviewed, and quality assurance systems were discussed in depth. Current practices were evaluated, and concrete strategic recommendations were made to further develop sustainable standards in education.
The sessions, enriched by the active participation of academic units, made significant contributions to the university’s vision for institutional development and further reinforced a quality-oriented approach to higher education.
The successful completion of the accreditation process not only enhanced KTMU's internationalization vision but also served as a testament to the high-quality education offered to students and all stakeholders. Moreover, Manas University further solidified its position as a regional leader and advanced its global competitiveness.
