The II. Agricultural Student Congress organized by the Faculty of Agriculture of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) on April 24, 2025, was successfully concluded. The congress, led by senior students of the faculty, provided an enriching environment for scientific exchange and academic collaboration.
The opening ceremony of the congress was attended by Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Aygün; Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, Prof. Dr. Yasin Boylu; Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Prof. Dr. İsmail Şen; faculty members, students, and representatives from Agrimatco, a company operating within the agricultural sector.
In his opening speech, Prof. Dr. Ahmet Aygün encouraged the students, stating, “Make a difference by applying the theoretical and practical knowledge you’ve gained over the past five years to the agricultural sector of Kyrgyzstan. Only turn to other fields when necessary. Remember, agriculture is the foundation of life—it is present in every aspect of our daily life, and its importance continues to grow.”
The congress featured six sessions in which graduating students presented their thesis projects. A total of 32 papers were presented, providing students the opportunity to share their academic research and practical experiences with the audience.
The congress attracted significant attention due to its high scientific content, offering more than just jury evaluations. It allowed students to present their findings to a broader audience. The event concluded with participants taking a group photograph as a memento of the successful congress.
