Ambassador of the Republic of Guatemala Visits Manas University
On October 13, 2025, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Guatemala to Kyrgyzstan Eduardo Enrique Hernández Resinos, paid a courtesy visit to the Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan.
During the meeting, which took place at the Rectorate, the parties discussed opportunities for cooperation between the two countries in the fields of education and culture. Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, and Secretary General Dr. Fatih Ramazan İstanbullugil also attended the meeting.
As part of the visit, Ambassador Resinos received information about the activities, international relations, and educational vision of Manas University.
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that Manas University attaches great importance to strengthening its academic relations not only within the Turkic world but also with Latin American countries. He stated, “Such visits reinforce the friendship between our countries and further strengthen cooperation in the field of education.”
