Career Day Events Have Started at KTMU Faculty of Tourism
At Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, where supporting students post-graduation career success and fostering cooperation with the business world are considered integral parts of the educational process, a Career Day event was organized to help students of the Faculty of Tourism step into their professional lives in a more informed and well-equipped manner.
The opening of the program held at the Kasym Tynystanov Conference Hall, was attended by KTMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. İsmet Altıntaş, faculty members of the Faculty of Tourism, representatives of leading hotel and tourism enterprises from Türkiye, and students.
Within the scope of the program, which aims to enable students to develop their professional competencies through practical experience and to enhance the employability of its graduates from the perspective of employers, representatives of Türkiye’s leading hotel and tourism enterprises provided students with comprehensive information on career planning in the sector, internship opportunities, and job application processes.
One-on-One Career Guidance for Students
Throughout the event, hotel representatives held one-on-one meetings with students of the Faculty of Tourism, offering personalized guidance aligned with their career goals. Students had the opportunity to obtain detailed information about internship opportunities at Türkiye’s prestigious hotels, while employers gained the chance to closely observe the professional skills and competencies of KTMU students. The Career Day event not only reinforced KTMU’s practice-oriented educational approach but also contributed to strengthening academic and sectoral cooperation in the field of tourism between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan.
