Students Were Guests at Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan’s House
Rector of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan hosted students from various countries and faculties at an iftar dinner at his home on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan. The invited guests, representing the students, came together in a warm and sincere family atmosphere.
During the program, the students expressed their gratitude and excitement at being hosted at the Rector’s home and thanked Prof. Dr. Ceylan for his hospitality. Students from different regions shared how Ramadan is observed in their respective countries, highlighting the richness of their cultural traditions.
During the meeting Prof. Dr. Ceylan shared his childhood memories of Ramadan, drawing attention to the enduring importance of spiritual values passed down from generation to generation. Emphasizing that the youth of the Turkic World are members of a large and strong family, Prof. Dr. Ceylan underlined the significance of unity and solidarity, stating: “Strength is born from unity. You are members of a great family united around the same ideal.”
