Digital Library Seminar for Manas University’s Academic Staff
Between February 24 and March 6, 2026, Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University organized introductory seminars for all academic staff on the use of the university library’s electronic resources. The seminars conducted by the KTMU Library and Documentation Department, were led by the Head of the Department Maksatbek Inakbekov.
During the seminars, participants received comprehensive information on electronic databases accessible through the university, the electronic catalog system, the VETİS system, the “My Pocket Library” application, the AXSİS system, and the “Turkistan Collection” database, as well as methods for searching scientific articles. Additionally, attendees were informed about access to international information platforms, effective use of digital resources, and the EIFL library consortium projects.
The seminars concluded with an interactive question-answer session, allowing participants to engage with experts, ask questions on topics of interest, and gain practical, hands-on experience.
