Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU) has taken another significant step toward strengthening higher education partnerships across the Turkic World by signing new academic cooperation agreements with Adıyaman University, Giresun University, Yozgat Bozok University, and Istanbul Aydın University.
Under the protocols signed by the university rectors in the KTMU Senate Hall, the parties aim to enhance collaboration in several key areas, including the conduct of joint scientific research, the development of undergraduate and graduate student exchange programs, the promotion of academic staff and researcher mobility, and the strengthening of cooperation in sports, arts, and cultural activities.
Following the signing ceremony, KTMU Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that these partnerships will make significant contributions to scientific integration among universities in the Turkic World. Highlighting Manas University’s strong academic position in Central Asia, Prof. Dr. Ceylan noted that the university stands among the leading higher education institutions in the Turkic World with its international vision, high-quality education approach, and extensive academic opportunities. He also underscored that Manas University serves not only as an educational institution between countries but also as a bridge of science, culture, and shared values.
Referring to the wide range of employment opportunities available to graduates, Prof. Dr. Ceylan stated that such international collaborations will provide students with valuable global experience, support their career development, and enhance their post-graduation employment prospects.
As part of the visit, the rectors also toured the Manas TV studios, the university’s applied media training center, where they received detailed information about the institution’s media infrastructure and technical facilities. The delegation further visited various faculties, gaining firsthand insight into the academic activities carried out at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, its international education vision, and the practical training opportunities offered to students.
