Member of Parliament Prof. Dr. Kürşad Zorlu Visits Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University
Member of Parliament for Ankara, Deputy Chairman of the AK Party, and Head of Relations with the Turkic States Prof. Dr. Kürşad Zorlu visited Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University (KTMU).
As part of the visit, Prof. Dr. Kürşad Zorlu accompanied by Ambassador of the Republic of Türkiye to Bishkek Dr. Mekin Mustafa Kemal Ökem, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan, Deputy Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz Ibraev, members of the university's senior administration, and the University Senate, inspected the site of the Chyngyz Aitmatov Campus of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.
Shared Vision for the Future of the Turkic World
Following the site inspection, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan welcomed Prof. Dr. Kürşad Zorlu to his office. During the meeting, the participants discussed ways to strengthen cooperation among the Turkic states in the fields of education, science, and culture, as well as initiatives to foster a stronger sense of shared identity among younger generations.
The meeting also included an exchange of views on the mission of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University as a leading higher education institution that preserves the common values of the Turkic World, promotes scientific cooperation, and educates future generations of leaders.
KTMU Contributes to the Shared Future of the Turkic World
Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan emphasized that, since its establishment, the university has served as an important bridge strengthening the bonds of brotherhood between Türkiye and Kyrgyzstan. He stated that KTMU continues its efforts to become not only a joint center of education and science for the two countries but also a common academic hub for the entire Turkic World. He further noted that the University brings together students from various Turkic Republics and related communities under one roof, thereby contributing to the development of a shared awareness of common history, culture, and a common future.

Prof. Dr. Kürşad Zorlu highlighted that joint initiatives in education reinforce the bonds of friendship and brotherhood across the Turkic World. He stressed that such cooperation is of great significance for building a shared future among the Turkic states.
