Mawlid Celebration
On Sunday, 17.10.2021, before the night prayer, at 19.20, the Mevlid Kandili program will be held at the Satuk Buğra Han Mosque by our Theology faculty.
Mawlid means "time of birth". Mevlid Kandili was sent as a mercy to the worlds. It is the anniversary of the birth of Muhammad (pbuh). On this blessed night, Muslims congratulate each other with beautiful prayers and say salawats (greetings) to our Prophet.
