The Faculty of Theology of KTUM held three-week seminars on the topic “The Concept of Hanafi-Maturidi Interpretation of Religion from the Perspective of History, Belief System and Influences”. Such seminars are held for the second time as part of the Seminars on Basic Theological Education organized by our faculty. The main focus was on the belief system and modern influences of the concept of Hanafi-Maturidi interpretation of religion. About 20 people took part in the seminars. Female teachers working in the religious sphere of Kyrgyzstan actively participated in these seminars. At the seminars, which were attended by representatives of a wide range of activities, the participants noted the lack of similar events, scientific meetings and resources related to the Hanafi-Maturidi understanding of religion in Kyrgyzstan. The seminars ended with the presentation of certificates of participation in the presence of the Dean of the Faculty.
