Turkey-Turkish World Relations
On November 27, 2024, former Member of the National Parliament of the Republic of Turkey Prof. Dr. Mustafa Erdem gave seminar titled "Turkey-Turkish World Relations" at the Faculty of Theology of KTMU. The seminar focused on the issues of the unity of religion and language, as well as the historical, religious and cultural ties between Turkey and the Turkic peoples. In his speech, Prof. Erdem emphasized the importance of language and religion for the sustainability of society, noting that it is necessary to develop and pass on the heritage left by great ancestors such as Abu Hanifa and his students. He also noted that society must rely on its own spiritual values and that external religious teachings cannot replace this foundation. The seminar attracted great attention and questions of the participants were answered. At the end of the seminar, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Hasan Ayık presented the speaker with a letter of thanks.
