December 18 World Arabic Day Program
On Thursday, December 19, 2024 at 15:30, a celebration program called "December 18 World Arabic Day" was organized by the academician of Religious Sciences Department Abdulbasit KRAİJ. The program was attended by KTMU Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Almaz İBRAEV, chief advisor to the rector Prof. Dr. Kemal POLAT, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Hasan AYIK, academic and administrative staff of thre university. The program started with the recitation of the Quran. In the program, poems emphasizing the importance of the Arabic language were read, and a video introducing Arab countries was watched. In addition, theater scenes managed by the students were performed in the Arabic language and hymns were read. There were also quiz competitions. Various gifts were presented to the winners of the competition. At the end of the program, Arabic and Kyrgyz national dishes that were provided and prepared were served.
