"Imam Azam Abu Hanifa"
On Wednesday, February 5, 2025, at 3:00 PM, a seminar titled "Imam Azam Abu Hanifa" was held at the Faculty of Theology, presented by Prof. Dr. Hasan AYIK. The seminar was attended by the academic and administrative staff of the Faculty of Theology, as well as university students. Prof. Dr. Hasan AYIK focused on the life, works, and thoughts of Abu Hanifa. He highlighted his depth in the field of Islamic jurisprudence and how he developed an extensive legal system using the methods of qiyas and ijtihad. Additionally, it was emphasized that despite facing political pressures, Abu Hanifa succeeded in becoming one of the foundational figures of Islamic jurisprudence, with his ideas and thoughts continuing to influence up to the present day.
The seminar, lasting approximately one hour, concluded with the answers to participants' questions.
