The symposium “Islam in Central Asia and Kazakhstan”
On April 28, 2025, the Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Theology of KTMU, Associate Professor Dr. Bakyt Murzaraimov, and the lecturer, Dr. Aitmamat Kariev, participated in the international symposium “Islam in Central Asia and Kazakhstan” held at the Kazakh-Egyptian Nur-Mubarak University in Kazakhstan. At the symposium, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bakyt Murzaraimov made a report entitled “The Religious Situation in Kyrgyzstan”. Then, Dr. Aitmamat Kariev made a report entitled “The Judicial System of Central Asia in the 18th-19th Centuries as a Symbol of Unity”. They provided detailed information on the control of the religious situation, unity and harmony, and Islamic values. At the end of the session, Murzaraimov and Kariev answered questions on their topics.
