On Wednesday, October 2, 2025, at 3:30 PM, Lecturer Mirgul Bekmurzayeva delivered a seminar titled "The Transformation of the Kyrgyz Family Structure Throughout History," as part of academic events held at the Faculty of Theology at KTMU. The seminar attracted considerable interest from academics, graduate students, and doctoral students.
In her presentation, Bekmurzayeva addressed the family structure of Kyrgyz society throughout history, its traditional values, and the changes experienced with modernization. Emphasizing the central role of the family in Kyrgyz culture, Bekmurzayeva, in her speech supported by examples, particularly emphasized the importance of intergenerational relationships, marriage traditions, and elements of social solidarity.
At the end of the seminar, a question-and-answer session was held with the participants. Participants explored topics of interest regarding Kyrgyz culture, engaging in a thought-provoking experience both academically and culturally.
