“The girls manners are valuable”

On February 5, 2026, the Kalem Club operating within the Faculty of Theology of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University organized a program highlighting spiritual values and the culture of courtesy. The event, titled “A Girl’s Value Lies in Her Modesty and Good Manners,” attracted significant interest from faculty students as well as administrative and academic staff.

The guest of honor, Prof. Dr. Nezahat Ceylan, delivered an insightful and thought-provoking speech on the role of adab (moral conduct and etiquette) in individual and social life. In her address, she emphasized that good manners are a fundamental value shaping a person’s sense of responsibility toward themselves and society.

The program, attended by a large number of female staff members and students, contributed to strengthening the bonds between academic staff, administrative personnel, and students. The gift exchange ceremony held at the end of the event reinforced the spirit of unity and togetherness and created warm and memorable moments.

Through such cultural and spiritual activities, the Faculty of Theology continues to contribute not only to students’ academic development but also to their character building and values education.
