Within the framework of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, a seminar titled “This World is the Field of Cultivation for the Hereafter” was held for women on January 26, 2026. The seminar was organized by Zhamila Zhoraeva, a staff member of the Faculty of Theology at KTMU, together with female students.
During the seminar, Zhamila Zhoraeva addressed the topic “This World is the Field of Cultivation for the Hereafter.” It was stated that worldly life, which begins with a person’s arrival into this world, is temporary in nature, whereas the Hereafter, meaning “the next life,” is defined as the result of one’s faith and deeds.
It was emphasized that every good deed performed in this world will not remain without reward from Allah. Therefore, despite its temporary nature, worldly life is of great importance as it forms the determining foundation for eternal happiness.
It was also highlighted that this world is not merely a place where believers suffer and live in poverty; on the contrary, it is a realm where they can be strong and live in prosperity. Every individual is responsible for building their worldly life in a proper and balanced way, without forgetting the Creator who provides sustenance, fulfilling their religious duties, preparing for the Hereafter, and avoiding extremes.
Approximately 150 women attended the seminar and followed it with great interest. The authorities announced that the program will continue every Thursday at the same time.
