Within the framework of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, a seminar titled “Self-Confidence and Decorum among Today’s Youth” was held on April 7, 2026, for university students. The seminar was organized under the coordination of Zhamila Zhoraeva, a staff member of the Faculty of Theology at KTMU.
During the seminar, Akylai Asanova stated that, from an Islamic perspective, self-confidence is defined as an individual’s awareness of the abilities and responsibilities granted by Allah and acting accordingly. However, it was emphasized that this confidence must be balanced with proper conduct to prevent it from turning into arrogance and pride.
Decorum (adab) is one of the fundamental elements of Islamic ethics, encompassing respect, humility, kind speech, and good behavior. In this context, it was highlighted that raising young individuals who are both self-confident and respectful, measured, and conscious reflects the balanced human model promoted in Islam.
