Within the framework of the Faculty’s 2026 social responsibility activities, a seminar titled “Moral Interpretation of Qur’anic Verses” was held on April 9, 2026, for female participants. The seminar was organized under the coordination of Zhamila Zhoraeva, a staff member of the Faculty of Theology at KTMU.
During the seminar, Elvire Tagaeva provided comprehensive explanations aimed at enabling Muslim individuals to understand religious texts in a more conscious, multidimensional, and context-based manner. In this regard, particular emphasis was placed on the moral content of Qur’anic verses and the necessity of relating these principles to everyday life practices.
The overall outcomes of the seminar indicated that it contributed to the development of participants’ critical thinking skills and provided an opportunity to comparatively evaluate different interpretative approaches. Such events, especially those encouraging the active participation of women in the production and interpretation of religious knowledge, are known to enhance individual awareness and contribute to the formation of a more balanced and sound religious understanding at the societal level.
Approximately 80 students attended the seminar and followed it with great interest. Refreshments were served at the end of the program.
