Quran recitation competition
As part of the 2026 social responsibility activities, the Faculty of Theology of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey Manas University organized a “Qur’an Competition” for women. The competition, held on April 27, 2026 under the coordination of faculty staff member Jamila Joraeva, attracted great interest from students.
The Qur’an recitation competition brought together participants from various age groups, ranging from 6 to 70 years old. With the youngest participant being 6 years old and the oldest 70, the event stood out as an inclusive program strengthening intergenerational interaction. During the competition, participants demonstrated their skills based on criteria such as correct pronunciation, adherence to tajwid rules, and the aesthetics of recitation. Following the careful evaluation process conducted by an expert jury, it was announced that the competition results would be shared on April 30. Such organizations were recognized as valuable contributions to the religious and cultural development of individuals.
