Reading Quran and Basic Religious Knowledge

As part of our faculty's social responsibility activities, the "Quran Reading and Basic Religious Knowledge" training program, organized for university students and the public, has been successfully completed. This three-month course, coordinated by Camila Coraeva, a staff member of the KTMU Faculty of Theology, ran from January 26th to April 30th, 2026, and provided participants with theoretical and practical training in Quran reading skills and basic religious knowledge. Participation and achievement certificates were presented to the students who successfully completed the program and to the valuable instructors who served during the training process. Furthermore, the results of the Quran reading and Seerah (biography of the Prophet) knowledge competitions held within the scope of the course were announced. The winning participants were awarded certificates and various gifts. It is hoped that this program will make significant contributions to strengthening social responsibility awareness and spreading religious education.
