KTMU DORMITORY CONVERSATION ON MISSIONARY: Prof. Dr. Kemal POLAT
KTMU Student Dormitory conversation series conducted by our faculty members started in 22/02/2022. Dean of Faculty of Theology of Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University Prof. Dr. Kemal POLAT made a speech titled "Missionary Activities in Central Asia".
In the conversation to which the students showed a great interest, Polat explained the concepts of missionary and teaching and pointed out the differences between them. Talking about the methods of Christian missionary and why they came to Central Asia, he drew attention to foreign language courses and inculturation in this missionary activities. Desiring our youth to be vigilant against such harmful currents, he emphasized that we should learn about our religion and national values and protect them in order not to become a mankurt. The program ended with the answers to the questions of students.
