Seminar on Antibiotic Resistance Held at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine
On 12 February 2026, Prof. Dr. Mitat Şahin, a faculty member of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kyrgyz-Turkish University «Manas», delivered a seminar entitled “Antibiotic Resistance and Current Alternative Approaches.”
During the seminar, the current use and significance of antibiotic resistance were discussed, and detailed information was provided on alternative approaches such as phage therapy, antimicrobial peptides, nanoparticles, and probiotics.
At the end of the seminar, Prof. Dr. İsmail Şen, Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, thanked Prof. Dr. Mitat Şahin for his valuable contributions and presented him with a certificate of appreciation.
