Academic Cooperation Strengthens Through the Orhun Exchange Program


Within the scope of the Orhun Exchange Program, Prof. Dr. Kader Yildiz and Prof. Dr. Dincher Yildiz from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kirikkale University, as well as Prof. Dr. Ali Bumin from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Ankara University, visited the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University.

As part of the academic cooperation program, lectures on various topics were delivered to students, providing up-to-date information on important animal diseases and prevention methods.

Prof. Dr. Kader Yildız covered the topics “General Parasitology,” “Neosporosis in Animals,” “Leishmaniasis,” and “Besnoitiosis”; Prof. Dr. Dincer Yildiz delivered lectures on “Anatomy of Vision,” “Anatomy of Hearing,” and “Sensory System Anatomy,” while Prof. Dr. Ali Bumin presented courses titled “Veterinary Radiology in the World and in Türkiye from Past to Present” and “Radiographic Evaluation of Urinary System Diseases in Cats and Dogs.” In addition, clinical and laboratory practices were carried out by the faculty members, allowing professional experiences to be shared with the students as well.

Our university and faculty place great importance on international academic cooperation, and such visits significantly contribute to the motivation of both students and academic staff.
