Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University, with its student-centered approach and commitment to equal opportunitites, took important initiative in Manas- ÖSYS 2026 admission process. In response to needs that emerged during the application process, additional admissions were made, allowing many applicants who weren’t able to complete registration to participate in the admission.
One-day extension became hope of applicants
University’s Student Selection And Placement Office reopened the application system on 3rd of July for the student applicants whose National General Republic Test (ORT) results that came after scheduled date. Thanks to this additional application process, large number of successful applicants who weren’t able join the process due to various reasons, secured the chance to continue their educational journey, by completing MANAS-ÖSYS 2026.
One of the students who was able to apply, Eleonora Atambekova, expressed her gratitude to Prof.Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan visiting him.
Atambekova, who has educational experience in the United States as well as Kyrgyzstan, noted that the extension of the application deadline gave a significant opportunity not only for herself but also for many other candidates in similar situations. Stating that the university’s responsive approach to the requests of applicant students gave a strong sense of belonging in her even before she began her studies at MANAS, Atambekova thanked Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan.

During the visit, Rector Prof. Dr. Alpaslan Ceylan noted that they had received requests from numerous candidates who were unable to complete their procedures during the application period for various reasons; he stated that the application system had been reopened for an additional day to ensure successful students could benefit from equal opportunities.
Emphasizing that the Kyrgyz-Turkish Manas University is an international higher education institution that continues to advance both academic excellence and a student-centered management approach, Prof. Dr. Ceylan said the following:
“We don’t want successful students to lose an opportunity to study just because of administrative reasons. As a university, our priority is to provide an opportunity for the students with academic potential as they deserve. We are pleased that the decision we made in line with this approach has resonated with our candidates."
Touching upon the university's academic development, Prof. Dr. Ceylan noted that the recently launched Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity programs represent strategic investments aimed at the new areas of expertise required by the digital age. Stating that they aim to equip students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies to compete on an international scale through these programs, Ceylan expressed that they would be delighted to welcome successful young people into the Manas family.
