Sharing professional knowledge and experience in Marmaris from April 15 to April 22, 2025
As part of the "Experience and Information Sharing Project between Turkish and Kyrgyz Tourism Enterprises," our faculty organized a vocational training program in Marmaris from April 15 to April 22, 2025. This initiative was carried out in collaboration with the Kyrgyz Tour Operators Association (KATO) and the South Aegean Touristic Hoteliers and Operators Association (GETOB).
During the training programme with the participation of 28 tourism operators from Kyrgyzstan, various tourism enterprises in Dalaman-Sarıgerme, Marmaris, and Datça regions were visited and field inspections were made. The participants had the opportunity to make on-site observations on the functioning of tourism in the region and exchange information with Turkish tourism professionals.
Assistant Associate Professor Dr. Narıngül Margazieva and Senior Teacher Kimbat Asanova supervised the program. The program aimed to enhance professional development and international cooperation, significantly contributing to the strengthening of relations between the two countries in the tourism sector.
During the training programme, Asst. Prof. Dr. Narıngül Margazieva, Vice-Dean of our Faculty, gave a presentation about our university and tourism in Kyrgyzstan at the ‘Karya Vision’ event. This event was held for the first time in Marmaris and was attended by various tourism stakeholders, including the Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism of the Turkish Republic. It brought together tourism professionals from the Aegean Region and the local administration of Muğla.
