As part of the Tourism Week Activities, the Department of Gastronomy and Culinary Arts organized a seminar on Functional Foods in Turkish Culinary Culture on April 18, 2023. During the seminar, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hasan Hüseyin Kara, from the School of Food Science and Nutrition at the University of Leeds, England, gave a presentation to our students on the importance and use of functional foods in Turkish cuisine. Dr. Kara participated in the seminar online and shared his knowledge on the topic.
